Day 1: Agadir – Essaouira
After breakfast in your hotel,you will start your tour to visit Agadir city, With its stunning beach and corniche, souks, historical kasbah and plentiful cafes you can be as busy or relaxed as you want. After that, we drive to Essaouira, a wonderfully relaxed coastal fishing town where you can explore Phoenician, Berber, Portuguese, Jewish, and French past in the well-preserved architecture, small alleyways and enchanting medina. Stroll through the serene squares, browse artisan shops and galleries, and observe the handicrafts of the ’tuya’ wood found only in Morocco or head down to the port to check out the day’s catch.
Day 2: Essaouira – Marrakech
Depart for Marrakech via the scenic inland road with the forest of the Argan trees (sometimes with goats!) which only exist in this region of the world. Stop off at Argan oil cooperatives along this relaxing drive.Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 3: Exploring- Marrakech
After breakfast in the Riad , you can start exploring Marrakech ” the red city of Morocco”. Your guide will ensure that you see the most important places of historical and cultural interest, including the Saadien tombs; the Palaces of El Bahia and El Badi and the Ben Youssef Coranique School. Lunch is at a restaurant near the square, then in the afternoon you’ll see the gardens at Majorelle, Menara and the Koutoubia tower. After dinner you will have the opportunity to walk around the ‘Square Jemaa El Fna’ full with magicians, story tellers, snake charmers and food sellers. Overnight in a hotel or riad.
Day4: Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes and Fez
Ather breakfast your guide will pick you up to Casablanca city where you’ll visit the Hassan II Mosque, the largest outside Mecca and experience the coastal Cornish seaside. Afterwards, we’ll leave for Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Here, you’ll see the Hassan Tower, the Oudaya Kasbah before checking in to your Riad at the heart of the Medina. Overnight in our Hotel/Riad.
Day 6: Fes – Azrou – Middelt – Rich – Imilchil
After breakfast, our journey will get started to Middelt passing via Ifrane to Azrou which is blanketed by cedar forest where there are wild monkeys. So, we could take lovely photos with them and lunch will be at Zaida or Middelt. After that, we drive to Ziz Valley via the Atlas Mountains and enjoy seeing the landscapes of Middelt. Then, we ahead to Rich city while exploring some berber tribes that still living out there even of hard weather ,we will arrive in Imilchil in the late afternoon before checking in to your hotel; Auberge Tislit by the beautiful lake of Tislit. Dinner Bed and breakfast.
Day 7: Imilchil – Todgha Gorge – Merzouga
After a morning breakfast we will leave Imilchil to Todgha Gorge the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco with panoramic views of the old mud Berber villages overlooking the valley,lunch will be under the high red cliff of the gorge. Continuing our trip to Erfoud and Rissani then through the open black desert to the village Merzouga where we will be welcomed with a glass of mint tea before trekking your camels for about 1 h 30 .dinner and overnight in a berber tent.
Day 8: Merzouga – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben haddou
After taking a pictures of sunrise and having breakfast we will camel-trek back to the village of Merzouga. On our way you won’t fail to appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes – changing with the light as the day progresses. Arriving late morning back in Merzouga and after shower in the hotel , we’ll leave for Rissani – once Sijilmassa – the foundation of the Alaouite dynasty, the current ruling family. With most of the woman veiled, and men hooded, this is a very traditional Moroccan town. We’ll continue driving towards Agdez, via Alnif and Tazarine,lunch in N’koub before we get to the fascinating Draa Valley at the edge of the Atlas Mountains, along which lay hundreds of Berber Kasbahs.dinner and accommodation in Ait Ben-haddou.
Day 9 : Ait Ben-haddou – Taliouine – Taroudant
Depart Ait ben-haddou for Taroudant, descending towards Tazenakht, an important centre for carpet weaving. We will be now in saffron country! Stop in Taliouine and visit the saffron museum, or time your visit for the saffron harvest festival in October. Continue to Taroudant. Overnight in Taroudant.
Day 10 : Taroudant – Agadir
After breakfast you’ll travel to the airport for your departure flight.
